W25 | Soda Firing WRKSHP

Welcome to the exciting world of atmospheric surfaces. Bring your inspiration and energy to the studio for this 5 week workshop, where participants will make work, load and fire a soda kiln in Portland, OR. 

Join other potters Monday evenings for 3 weeks of making, followed by a firing of the Mini-Soda kiln. 

Group meeting/class 4 Monday evenings starting Monday, November 24. 6-9pm
Firing: Thursday, December 18

Unloading: Monday, December 22

Registration covers instruction, studio time, 25 lbs of clay, glaze, and 1 cubic foot of kiln space(20 reg sized mugs fit in a cubic foot). Additional space is available for $45 per cube if you’re feeling prolific!

NOTE: There is additional space in this kiln. If you have bisque and would like to participate in only the firing, there is an option for that!
