The damp box is a useful tool for making and storing work, especially when your non-pottery schedule prevents you from being as flexible as you'd like. I've thrown pots and stored them in my damp box for months before trimming and/or adding attachments. It's a simple thing to make, but it's much more fun with a group.

During this 3 hour workshop, you'll create your own damp box. Whether you bring a container, or allow us to supply one, you'll work side by side with other potters to weigh, mix and pour plaster. Plaster needs 24 hours to cure before use, but you'll be able to take your damp box home at the end of the workshop.

Sign up for 1 of three options: 
1. Bring your own box (up to 16 x 20 inches) and we'll provide the plaster - $30
2. Full Service short - we'll provide a container capable of holding pots up to 4 inches tall, as well as the plaster. - $50
3. Full Service tall - we'll provide a container capable of holding pots up to 12 inches tall - $50

Skip the workshop and have us make you one! You can pick it up 24 hours after the end of the workshop. Your damp box must be picked up within 3 days - $40
